EricksList reply to sand wedge and plea for subject line

Folks:

As I'm compiling my list, I'm finding it a great help if folks will put, in the first line of the message (like above). This would have two advantages...

1> when scanning the thread, we would be able to more quickly focus on posts of personal interest.
2> Making my list would be easier.

I'll keep whining whenever I get a chance (thanks sand wedge) until folks get tired of reading and cave in. Presto, we'll have an industry standard with

1> low barriers to entry (anyone can do it)
2> low switching costs since we'll just do this from this point on.

So, our Gorilla Game thread will be distinguished by better execution, and will continue to be a real King of a thread.

sand wedge:
I'm compiling a list of "interesting" posts that contain analysis/research/good questions that should do. It'll be posted every month both here and in a sibling thread that I'll create late this month (first list out Feb. 1). My view is that monthly lists would be enough, since the GG isn't supposed to need constant attention. Why don't you wait and see if that satisfies your needs and we'll go from there. I'm not even semi-retired except when I'm on this board dressed in my robe, so publishing it monthly lets me keep up.

All the best
Erick

<< Could you provide a brief summary (the weekending report?) of the respected posters on the Q thread and give us working stiffs, a general idea regarding current sentiment?

It used to be that I would read G&K to get a summary view of the Q thread.... I am beginning to think we need a summary G&K thread for the working masses. >>

Let's see.
The Q Thread Digest.
The G&K Thread Digest.

Think we can get GMST to publish them both in hard copy, eBook, and EPG formats?
