In the sidebar was a good article called, "Profit squabble mars wireless Web future":

It centers on Geoworks who is throwing a curve at WAP. Back in early 1998 when GSMNA settled on WAP as the mobile microbrowser of choice it looked like Geoworks was out in the cold. They are back for their piece of the pie.

I think someone (who?) is presenting phone.com and this issue affects that game. I have posted a few other articles in the last few days on the Nokia thread on this subject.
