So, if NVLS were to emulate AMAT, then they would buy Lucent's Scalpel business or more likely Ultratech's UltraBeam."

Hmmm....don't think Richard Hill is a Morgan wannabe. Their acquisitions, at least to date, have taken distinctively different approaches in comparison with AMAT. But, if they were trying to grow into a gorilla, I would think SVGI with its Tracking, Thermco and Litho business might be more logical. There are a number of very deep pocketed semi companies which deem EUV a worthwhile investment to say the least...so I might not conclude that e-beam has won the day either. Of course, what makes sense is only what the Board of Directors of NVLS and ultimately its shareholders agree on....but I for one am getting out of the prognosticating business and going back to focusing on investing.

Just one man's spin....SemiBull
