It's "a" S&P option.

The rule is does the word sound like it begins with a consonant or a vowel. If a vowel use "an"; if a consonant use "a".


I agree with the rule, but I think S&P sounds like esss and peee . i.e the short 'e' vowel sound of the letter 'S'. Of course here we would say esss and peee y'all.
