Laura, <<IMCC>> I took a quick look at the filing. ~(-$1.5)/book value, and huge losses. Their business is holding mortgages for people that can't get conventional mortgages. Banks won't lend any more money. The filing talks of bankruptcy. The mortgages are probably for people that haven't participated in the stock market, high risk, that could default in poor economy. We are probably at the peak of the business cycle, excess debt. Now do want to own such a company? Even cheap companies sometimes become cheaper. However, on the short side, there's a case, but not for a penny stock. Good luck.
