Everyone should attend a Pow Wow at least once during their life as it is a shift back in history to see all of the customs of the Red man. We also sponsor the "Red Earth Day" once a year in Oklahoma City. You have every tribe under the sun attending and the war dance contests are something to see. The Indian men and womans costumes are so complex and beautiful. I think the treatment of the Indian when they were marched to hot mosquito infested reservations is one of the most inhumane things that the U.S. has ever done.
