Per all the major data sources, PC revenues declined in 1999. This is hardly a secret. That they declined in 1998 was more of a secret. Unit sales were up, but then units aren't something you can take to the bank. Kudos to Intel for not losing money in this environnment. No kudos to investors for bidding up Intel's PE to record levels as its business slows.

My question to Brian was, and still is, when is the last time this figure has been negative? Hint: it's been a while . . .
