Icron - ICM. Interesting situation. The company has developed a technology for extending USB connectivity beyond the current limits of 5 meters to 100 meters. ExtremeUSB is currently being Beta tested by all the big name companies - 60 Fortune 100 including Intel and Microsoft - with non-disclosure agreements. Currently in the process of divesting its manufacturing division which is profitable and appears to be seeing strong gains quarter over quarter. They are giving up this cash cow and the security of owning the manufacturing division to concentrate entirely on their USB technology a decision which implies confidence in the new USB products and their market. The manufacturing division is being sold to a group of investors led by Doug Kind the company founder and ex CEO. So what has happened in the market is Doug Kind and his friends have been selling their ICM shares. Last week ICM was the 10th most active trader on the CDNX and their share price is climbing significantly despite the selling (closed Friday @ .68, up .25 from previous Fri.)
