PlaytheKing,

excellent overview of the company and the issues facing it over the next year. I agree that it's going to take time for management to integrate JBA and meet their 25% operating margin target. As I recall from the last Conference call, the margin for JBA needed major improvement. I don't expect any miracles from the management team, at least not in the next quarter anyway!

I am very interested to hear more specifics from Geac on their plans to provide services related to B2B activities over the internet.

I too am holding and hope to buy a few more shares in the comming weeks, bargain at these prices, although I'm starting to get close to what I consider a reasonable limit for one stock in my portfolio.

John

Very interesting observations.

Now my turn. Since the Quarter isn't released yet and isn't even over yet I just do my own speculation on what's happening. The present share price is telling me that Rev is going to be bad or JBA is sucking sea water big time. The insiders have spoken. What do they say on those polls -- correct 19 times out of 20.

1. Y2K is over so they have no excuses for the short fall in Rev. This quarter is when they sign all their maintenance contracts. The maintenance contracts is what helped them through the Y2K problems so if the Rev. is going down then they must have lost some contracts.

2. They were suppose to save around 60 or 90 Million from JBA when they combined with Geac. So for them to say JBA is still losing big money then there is something funny going on.

3. The share price hasn't found any support so it looks like down we go again next week unless the company pulls a rabbit out of its hat and gives us some positive info on the quarter which I doubt they will.

4. I guess I shouldn't be complaining so much considering Bergeron has about 200k shares at around 28 bucks so he's down about 1 mil. I'm guessing that we could hit 20 bucks so he will be down 1.6 mil. I wonder what Sadler is doing these days. If he's bored than maybe he should come back. I think he still has a pile of shares and probably isn't to happy with the present price.
