Hey Lola,

I think CC and certain big players were selling a lot for 2 reasons:

1. To take a profit from old investments and PP's.

2. To sell at 1.30-1.70 and use the proceeds to take down some of the new PP @ 1.05 (same thing that happens on warrant exercise dates when the stock price is above the strike price of the warrant).

As for the change in the PP. I think it's pretty minor. Non-brokered #'s vs. brokered numbers change frequently, esp with in favour stocks.

All mo and fwiw.

Lola, I think it is very difficult for Americans to short Canadian stocks. I don't think you can do it through Greenline US - so that takes a big shorting group right out of there. You are right, shorting in this mkt is often suicide - kind of like walking up to that glacier - yep I am going to the gym <g>.
