I just watched a small segment of the weekend edition of something with Mark Hanes and the program advertised the guests on the power lunch. The are indeed some of the semiconductor CFO's and such.

So you are right that CNBC will keep talking about technology primarily as is their style.

There was some strategist as a guest today though who mentioned energy. He sees bullish rotation and said that new leaders will emerge. This is actually an interesting way to talk about it. Small caps have been suffering for
quite a long time now. If they start to ascend, it will be difficult for the talking heads to talk about a bullish market, if at the same time DOW and NAZ drop.
