The installation requires very little expertise on the part of the tech. The guy setting me up said a year ago he'd never touched a computer. He did nothing that I could not have done myself.

Then why the heck have we payed him to do it 1 million times? Why do we intend to pay him to do it 2 million more times next year? This is a total mystery to me.

I just spent a lot of time on the Dell web site buying myself a new computer. I saw *no* mention of either cable or DSL modems. Why not?

I agree! Once I saw it happen, I too realized how easy it was to do. I'll bet that Joe Average feels the same way we did after he sees it installed! Also in most areas installation is free so why not let him come over! I have to place my faith in the installer because I'm no tech geek.

Grace, when installs are mailed to the consumer is when we will take off. I still feel that set-tops will increase sub growth 10 fold!
