Let's take a trip down memory lane. Now Wang becames a big business selling an integrated word processing application. Wang went bust because they could not adapt to general purpose PC. PC had word processing app and spread sheet and whatever. WP was a good word processing app but MS put together a good office suite with most/all- of the WP and leveraged non compatability data formats to kick ass. Applix, Star Office and MS office are suites as well the IBM with lotus suite. Corl is banging together an office suite and it won't ever run native on Linux. Applix and Star are the only truly OS agnostic direct port running office suites. Applix is the only office suite java ported this five minutes. Applix is the only office suite that has ELF like customability. Office apps by themselves are the current level of business productivity. Customization of office suite elements is I feel essential to the E-B2B crm tm1(real time) unification of business data/information. Linux OS and Linux office apps is/may to become 100 million???? a billion. Crm E-B2B will be a trillion or trillions.
