Wayne, I think consolodation is certain and will be dramatic. I don't see an end to the cutthroat pricing until the consolidation is nearly finished. If you look at the frozen food sections, the number of competitors making the same thing is dazzling. Some of them have already been sucked up, Banquet by Conagra (hey, I owned Banquet when it was part of RCA, back when the Earth was cooling), but you really need to see even more. Shelf space is, after price, the key problem, and the bigger you are, the more you can demand.
