<<an incredible amount of unawareness and mystery>>

Che,
I think Voltaire would call it "ambiguity". This business model is beautiful. Q's pro-forma projections of royalties unencumbered by the previous handset mfg. costs should probably open the kimono. It will be interesting to watch and see if Walter's recent projection is joined by any of the other analysts. hmmmmmmmmm

CNBC is the audience for the public. When qcom makes its eventual run into the +$200 there has to be someone to buy the stock - this is where CNBC and the public comes in.

The general public as well as the run of the mill analyst are perfect for one another. There is very little DD. Buy it when its high and sell it when FUD is presented. What's left? - MM's and the LTB&H.

Just over one year ago qcom had a forward PE of about 3 (based on FY00 earnings of $1.25) The PE was less if you go out further. CNBC wasn't around to talk about this.

By the time the general public knows of QCOM as a solid long term opportunity the stock will be over $400. FWIT
Thanks
WEb.

Public press for Qualcomm
It has been a tough day. Money magazine, thru their close connection with Ramsey, has spent about 5 hours photographing mainly Russ (Go*Qcom), then Ramsey and me for the upcoming March issue due out in mid February. The feature article will be on QCOM. Russ and his beautiful wife, Gina, will be on the cover! This is, for those less well informed, where most savvy investors get their investment advice, technical analysis and fundamental insights. Isn't it?
