All I know is what it says in the e-mail that's posted -- it sure sounds like pay anyone (in the U.S.)to me, whether they mail the checks as part of it isn't going to matter much for the consumer; Doesn't checkfree mail a lot of its stuff?

But no, it doesn't say when, other than Big things SOON. Who knows when they'll get it up and running; surprised there is no press release, perhaps its coming.

transpoint.com

Although, this is interesting....

transpoint.com

Standard Service

Pay most major U.S. companies—choose from a list of over 750 companies. Free for six months. Then $2.95/month for up to 20 payments per month.

Premium Service

Pay anyone on the Standard Service list PLUS anyone else you would normally send a check to. Free for three months. Then $5.95/month for up to 20 payments per month.

Pricing is not that bad, but I'll stick with my FREE wingspan.com account, thank you very much. I do think it would be less confusing if they had just one service and one price.

And so much for those who thought Microsoft (just cause they have deep pockets) would be offering this service for Free. Also looking at the standard service, personally I would not be able to pay my Credit Card, Water, Cable, Auto, Mortgage, or Natural Gas Bills. The only bills I could pay would be my Phone and Electric. Very confusing, causing the consumer to look through 750 billers to see which ones they have. People on the internet have the attention span of a mouse;-)
