Oh, I agree that in a dispassionate analysis it should be useable, but I find it hard to use, that is all. Heck, in junior high school, I was on the track team, and had a couple of black pals who used it all the time, in a Richard Pryorish sort of way, and I still wouldn't use it, as a white person, even to kid around. I can hear it, and, in context, find it acceptable. Just a quirk.....

To not fully enunciate the n word is not being PC. It is a word that is offensive to more than just blacks. Some of us don't like saying it, even though the context is neutral. It is a filthy word that sears the mind. Why write it or say it when you don't have to?
