JDSU is certainly a core holding. I'm not sure that I'd put everything into it.

THREAD: I don't want people to think that my name change means that I have just made the change to bandwidth. I have been in bandwidth long enough that most of my positions in it are subject to long term capital gains. I just changed my name. My portfolio has looked like it does now for quite some time.

Regards,

LoF

I've been told that JDSU LEAPS (if they become available at all this year, and they'd better. grrrrrrr) would be available this spring. March?

JDSU to the S&P

Rocket, I don't pretend to be an expert at this options stuff. Prior to last year, my only short term financial interests were in NFL games. But, you certainly must remember the Yahoo explosion when it was added. I recall having read an article in Time Magazine by a market analyst around that time. He stated that he thought further S&P shakeups were coming and he predicted JDSU would be one of the companies added. With its recent merger, it sure seems more likely, doesn't it?

Does the S&P make any advanced announcements that shakeups are going to occur, without stating the specific nature of them?
