here, here Poet...
short term options are without a doubt a high risk position, but if used in the right circumstances by someone with a little bit of experience, and a bunch of bruises from learning the hard way, can be an extremely profitable short term tool. i had a real nice 20 minute trip on JDSU Jan 220's friday.....i guess nimble is the politically correct word.....no substitute on these guys for being very familiar with the stocks you choose to try this on....
sincerely,
jesse ventura

Thanks for pointing out my obvious attempt at humor, Poet, but until you stop accusing folks of sexism simply because you disagree with them, I'd prefer not to have any discourse with you.

Please note that <GG> was omitted intentionally on this message.

Thank you Poet for opening, with Jill, the Wooing and Courting Disaster on Gorilla & Kings thread. And thank you for showing me a trick or two. It's funny but my bank, jeweller, and grocery store accept disaster most readily.

No seriously. I think that noone goes away from your (& Jill's) thread without hearing mention of risk. Buying and holding QCOM is a no brainer. Understanding and using options to take advantage of fluctuations in the market is trickier, riskier even, but can be so rewarding.

(Why didn't you tell me you're sexist? I like to treat men as if they were equal!)
