James, I can still remember IBM dropping from 175 down to 40 and back again, taking about 5 years
for the round trip, it did come back, but it did'nt have to ever recover. Cheers


IBM lost hundreds of millions or billions per quarter and had to lay off over 100,000 people before it was all over (getting back into the black). Do you see anything like that in Microsoft's future? I don't. If we want to get really wild with comparisons, how about DEC?

I'm not saying it's a completely fast track for Microsoft, but IBM had gotten screwed up big time.
