Ha! You don't know the joys of digging bare hands into warm earth, shoving the grubs and worms aside, not minding the dirt working its way deep under your fingernails. It is wonderful to behold your handiwork of flowers (appropriate season), empty pots, garden hose all over, tree branches downed by a windstorm, and - best of all! - the total mess of a weeping willow tree!
