Thanks for the links. I could spend quite a bit of time at the BP6 site (already did). Good luck with your machine. I tried cpu-idle with the BP6 that I sent back. It ran hot (which is why I sent it back). At idle or low usage cpuidle worked amazingly well. Run the cpu's hard and it didn't work at all (that's why they call it cpuIDLE, duh). Or at least that's how my foggy brain remembers it. Hmmmm... Worth checking out, anyway. wily
