Thanks so much for posting that clear explanation of exercising your QCOM 2000 LEAPs. This is very helpful to first-time exercisers.

You did a fantastic job of using engineer's successive strategy. I'm really impressed.

Your idea to exercise your DIM 2001 LEAPs (now?) is facinating. Expound when you get the chance?

I don't think that your paying tax on the sale of some options and having resulting tax affects (or reduces) your basis in the stock of the shares that you picked up upon exercising options. I must say that I am not exactly sure of your steps.
