No, don't think I'm trying to argue what you are trying to present. As a matter of fact I'm investing quite a bit of money at the moment and I'm using DWA's site as a reference. This is money that will be invested for several years, I presume. In any event at some time in the future it won't be under my control so at that point it won't make a bit of difference what prompted me to buy it.

So there is your horizon. I'm investing for the future, I'm buying or selling today for the rent. Either way, I attempt to get the best price going in and the best price going out. I understand that Mr. Dorsey had to pick a time frame and I understand why he picked days. I'm just of an opinion that charting by day is Time.

It's a circular argument, we can go back and forth but we must agree that DWA uses PnF in Time. So they can't say that Time is not a factor.

Hey I like it myself. I have traded stock based on the method. As I said I have bought stock recently because of the theory. I'm a little ticked off at this attitude that daytraders are running in front of a bulldozer but all that aside I appreciate the concept.

After all, I only daytrade the SnP anyway. I happen to like the way PnF works intraday. If DWA would rather trade the SnP on a positional basis then more power to them. Other than that I'm fine with the concept of positioning stock.

No hard feelings. I hope.
