They are also being driven up by people who are shorting based on valuation concerns, and then the price goes further up as short covering kicks in. I am amazed at how many people and funds are STILL doing this, when it begins to wane it will be a sure sign of a top.

One pretty well known short term oriented fund this week shorted PLUG, and had to take a sizeable loss on the same day.

Impressive! With VOXX the #3 player in Telecommunications sector after JDSU and QCOM, a recent earnings play and only with a peg ratio of .08 and a P/E ratio of 32, make this company look like a steal. I'd wait until the stock completed the resultant price changes due to the secondary offering, but afterwards it should settle down and begin to rise accordingly. It is still undervalued IMHO with the expected dilution that is coming. latest qtr eps + 211% sales +96%

The Strategis Group's recently released report U.S. Wireless Handsets: Marketshare and Trends. The Strategis Group reports that TDMA was Nokia's best selling technology, whereas Motorola's highest volume of sales came from analog handsets. Nokia was also the leader in GSM handsets in 1999, while Qualcomm garnered the highest volume of CDMA handset sales.
