You must remember, Furman apparently said something to the effect that planting evidence against minorities is a good thing because the world would be better off were they all exterminated. So then if he planted evidence, one might assume he did it to support this end. That he said this merely as an explanation is a thing to be ignored at this juncture, since he became your hero apparently before you were aware of it. I certainly understand your disdain of the media. I share it, but not to the extent I would laud a man (no less a law-enforcement officer) who brags about routinely breaking the law. You may celebrate whom you wish, but I think some enemies of our enemies are better left uncelebrated.
