JavaGuy - I am at the point where I don't really care if the market tanks 50% (from the perspective of my portfolio). I know it will come back over time. Now that there is so much new money in the market it seems too heal much faster than ever before. My $24 CMGI shares are safe. Mark Peterson's $1.00 shares too. You are 31, great! As long as you use margin with due care, your financial future is assured regardless of downturns in the market. I am 52. I wish I had the foresight to begin serious investing even two years ago instead of 18 months. My returns would have been even more phenomenal. Good luck, Jim
