so salomon has it. well i will have to pay for american express since i don't think i can keep theit min. (where the trades are free).

i know it take several months but i don't usually hold most of the shares. in most cases i like to sell almost everything before earnings so i do move a lot and a few months will not do.

i figured shorting from the new account will make more sense but that means being 50% cash (wiring 50% cash to short in the new account untill the shares arrive). i can be 50% cash on some months but i never know which month it'll be.

i wish they had a better, faster process.
