Yo_Alan...................

Thanks for the very "opulent" post. You certainly bring up many good points.

WHY IS IT [lawsuit] NOT PLAYED UP BY THE NEWS MEDIA MORE?"

No matter on what we may believe for the future, right now RMBS is an almost unknown 3 year old low cap company with a small float. It's not an Internet with high expenses, low revenue and big plans.

This is not true in the SEMI industry and Trade News sources.

RMBS is a stock for "techies", who understand a little where the industry is at, what makes it tick and where it may go in the future.

This is true - just ask the "techies" who were first to invest in QCOM and CREE and JDSU, just to name a few!

Hardly anyone out there knows(or even cares) the difference between an SRAM and a DRAM, let alone EDODRAM to SDRAM to DRDRAM to DDRDRAM to SLDRAM.

This is true - Until March and SONY releases the PLAYSTATION II, and the post Y2K corporate computer upgrades begin, and DELL and Micron send out their March sales brochures featuring computers with with RDRAM.

So why should RMBS filing against Hitachi make big news in the media? It's not like INTC against VIA or MU against Korea Inc. These are visible companies with jobs and prestege involved.

For the exact same reasons that QUALCOM won a settlement in its CDMA lawsuit against ERICKSON.

Lastly, what I fail to understand is, why should RMBS go to $1000 on a favorable ruling?.

Alan, If you TRULY do not know the answer to this question, you should not be investing in the stock market or at the least handling your own investment decisions.

A favorable ruling in the law suit has nothing to do with any company holding RAMBU$ down - It means that RAMBU$ could collect royalties on any and all flavors of DRAMS going back for TEN YEARS and that RAMBU$ would be entitled to collect royalties on 80% of all FLAVORS of DRAM going foward for an indeterminable (at least 4 or 5 years) length of time.

The outcome of a favorable ruling for RAMBU$ will mean a HUGE world wide market impact on ALL DRAM produced by ANY company!!!!!

Salude - Norman.

In your post it sounds like you're talking about those who know how to tune the fiddle! <G>
