Thean, Steve et al, Here's some data I found on TOC. Market Cap 766.4 mill Rev 446.1 mill # employees 2437 Shares outstanding -- 51.1 mill shares float -- 1.5 million(looks a little thin. OPMR for comparison sake has 11.1 mill shares with a float of 7.6 mill. EDIT: sorry for the format, but I forgot that spaces get compressed on these posts. Fidelity had a table that I'll try to summarize where the compared key ratios of TOC with the industrty and the sector without saying who actually comprised these 2 categories: TOC Industry Sector S&P 500 P/E 20.9 56.4 52.3 36.7 P/sales 1.7 9.7 18.0 7.4 P/book 2.2 13.5 17.8 13.4 P/cf 14.1 57.2 49.0 29.3 beta 1.0 1.5 1.6 1.0 Institu 3.8% 38% 44.5% 60.6% Owns Cap spd 39.4 30.8 31.4 16.7 The 39 weeks ended 10/2/99 showed a slight drop in revenues due to a slow down in some laser component sales, but an increase in revenues because of an 8.9 mill restructuring charge the year before. I didn't check out daily vol figures, but it must be pretty thinly traded with that float.
