Hey Razor, maybe we could entitle that article "The Missing Barrels"? OOOOOOOOooooooooOOOOOooooo After, reading the following articles that Stevedu provided via the Houston Chronicle, I feel like dusting off my Lynyrd Skynyrd CD's, taking the bell bottoms out of moth balls (shucks, they don't fit no mo), and starting to sing the chorus to White Winged Dove (it all sounds hauntingly familiar). <g> Who knows, maybe Bill Gates will move to Houston and reincarnate himself as JR Ewing! Maybe he'll even buy Big Dogs souped up old Camaro, at a Bar B Q auction. <g> Dare I say it? They are starting to squeal like stuck ----? <g>chron.com chron.com Not as bad as the Seventies yet. Workin' on it, though. You do remember the Seventies, don't ya sonny? <G> Nahhh, young whippersnappers like you were still only knee high to a grasshopper then. <VBG> Well ole Bullsky does, and I say it's time to ROCK THE CASBAH, baby, ROCK THE CASBAH. <VVBG> Youth has it's advantages, but just remember, The older the Bull, the harder the Horn. OOOOOOO yeah! Bull (with tongue firmly planted in cheek) Seriously, I think OPEC will begin to loosen up when crude goes over 30. Slightly. This will cause crude to dip back to 25 - 27. It will be too little, too late. It will be coincident with 120 OSX (how nice). Crude will hold there for a while and then rocket to 40 based on a World Wide Economic Boom, the like of which will not be seen again in my lifetime, maybe yours though, if you stay out of those damned refineries. The ultimate peak for the OSX? Somewhere north of the '97 summit, in uncharted territory. Why? Crude prices are now much higher than in '97 (generating much more cashola), and world wide crude stocks will go lower than in '96.
