Whoa there fella,

I have the beta version and indeed it leaves a banner ad on my desktop but it gets hidden by other windows when it is not active.

I don't see this as a problem. In fact, I use this version as my regular email client.

Eudora misinformation on this board.

Someone copied a message that said: "Eudora 4.3 leaves a HUGE banner ad on your desktop ALL THE TIME Eudora is running, so any icons under it cannot be"

That is misinformation. Eudora 4.3 does not display "banner" ads of any kind. In the sponsored mode it displays a square ad in the lower left hand corner of the Eudora window. It does not leave ANYTHING on your desktop "all the time". The author of the above statement is simply confused.

I have not had any of the problems listed in your note and the "banner ad" (it is really a small square updated rarely) on my program is about 1.5 by 1.5 inches . . . curious that we have such different experiences.
