Let's not beat this to death except I want to say that Bezos has locked in long term leases on the distribution centers that apparently are only operating at 10% capacity. In other words, he has over capacity for which he has to pay a fixed expense. There is no going back now is what I am saying.

He'd have to either still pay the contractors or face lawsuits. And the leases on the properties? Can he just walk away from that too? He can't exactly just do a mouse click and walk away from all this B&M construction he's doing!

He's got lots of costs already sunk that could not be saved by backing out midstream. Besides, just think how badly all that non-producing capital would hurt AMZN ROE figs !!
