The article is useless. The writer does not discern between telephony minutes and data minutes (dial-up internet users). Therefore growthrates for telephony minutes used for telephony purposes are not discussed. If someone were to do this analysis properly they would - restate minutes for telephony - restate minutes for data - restate growth rates for each - determine % of users using IP telephony that have data acces - project growth rates of users using IP telephony as a combined (integrated) solution. - project expecations for competive local exchanges deploying telephony access via IP infrastructures. The writer has taken a very simplistic view and by virtue of the fact you have aligned yourself with it it's apparent that you too don't have the business experience to understand the market dynamics.
