CB, Hello...That is true, however they came by way of France. and William the Conqueror was a Viking who became the King of England..That is how they got their height.The early Vikings were the "little people" who came to Ireland, with a History rich in Mythology..Have you ever been to Denmark? The beds in those old Castles are about 4 ft. long ;-) Their Reputation for maurading was a good part myth. They were settlers and needed Land to explore. thus they really moved about. I know more about their History since my Constant Companion is a Dane. My favorite food these days is Danish "Open Face Sandwiches"...
