- Over the years, I've seen a zillion folks predict the demise; stall; and fall of MSFT. All have been proven wrong.

- MSFT has its tenacles in a lot of other areas that will start paying off. Remember the AT&T deal? the Expedia ipo? Healtheon/WebMD investment? Guess what platforms they're all going to use?

- I won't try predicting what MSFT w/ do tommorrow. But over time? It's going higher for sure.

Dear Mr. Yaacov:

"Maybe instead of worrying about earnings and windows, we should ask questions to what extent the executive is involved in this conspiracy?"

Here we go another conspiracy theory!?
Your bio says Switzerland, with Swiss bank accounts too?
Without getting too personal, do you pay US taxes?

Nevermind . . . but your name, Switzerland, foreign accent (grammar)
all make this ve-r-y interesting and a good Sunday afternoon discourse. AND
. . . I think you are correct.

This is the greatest country right? and yet some cannot handle greatness. Some want to bring the great down ... and the lowly up.
Income distribution is what some call it.
You seem to think it is National Security issue, maybe but it seems apparent that the politics of "fairness" is what's "GOREing" MSFT.

We all sit (including me) on our fat asses and post our hunches, our beliefs, our wishes, whatever. But I am counting on those folks in Redmond to keep working, without distraction, on meeting and creating
consumer and corporate software needs.

We are communicating right now because of MSFT and lots of other companies and their innovations. And yet the government and their doj and their band of thugs want to bring this innovation down!
They are a bunch of blood sucking leeches. They should all be made to work in the real world and try to make a buck after taxes. We pay their wages! and these maggots want to bring us down! to their level.

Abbigail

PS
Maybe Mr. Dowd is right. We should talk politics on this thread.

PSS
Another thing that really has my blood boiling. No competition eh?

You seem to forget that several states are also parties.

To what other conspiracy theories do you subscribe?

JMHO.

Agree !! People on this thread are stupid enough to believe the current down of Microsoft is due to earning ...etc , but it is not. There is bigger plan behind the curtain , which thinks Microsoft is a single too powerful entity to be controlled, so need to break it up. That is why we have this DOJ case on and on and on. So, Microsoft's problem is a political one, no matter whatever you complain, it is useless, because it is fighting with the government, which had absolute power and no one can challenge with !!!!
