And you should remember: PE's can equalize in two ways, not one. If CSCO's PE is 197 now, will it still be around 200 in a couple of years? Maybe these two companies will both trade at 100 times trailing earnings in a couple of years, not 200.

I didn't say otherwise. I just said that SUNW, IMO deserved a P/E on par with CSCO, whatever that is.

Your point about there being "no internet as we know it without..." is no more true of CSCO than of SUNW. Going forward, SUNW may in fact have more wind (IMO).

Anyway, I'm SUNW concentrated since 1996 and now 75%+ SUNW. I have no problems sleeping. I don't worry about the P/E. If you're a CSCO shareholder, you know what I'm talking about.

So... I rest my case. :)

I think SUNW is headed sharply down to 60-65 short term.
Insider selling post earnings will start in a couple of
days. First support at 70 (50d mv); 2nd support at 45(200d
mv). I just bought protective puts.
