At least a case can be made that it was a judgement call. The phoney incomplete pass call can't stand up to any scrutiny. The best possible explanation is incompetence beyond belief and that isn't even a convincing explanation. It was like walking outside in broad daylight and declaring it to be midnight. How do you explain that away? EP
