You'd have thought any broker GIVING advice would have studied finance somehwere along the line already????

Not so. These guys are salespeople. Ask them some detailed financial questions sometimes. See if you get a coherent answer.

Spy--if I hadn't bought a bunch of TBFC shares a couple months ago, I might join you. While no one--not even USMA...--knows what's going to happen tomorrow with this stock, it's fundamentals are so strong that I'll be amazed (and very disappointed) if we're not significantly higher next year, barring some cataclysmic drop in the market.

another difference between E*Trade and the rest of the OLBs is that they don't have an international strategy as clear-cut as E*trade's
