I know of a case where a medical oncologist several years ago made I believe something like 30 or 40 million dollars in one year. There was an extraordinary circumstance where he got stock options for being involved with a company which either when public and/or was bought out. However in California today the median salary for a medical oncologist when I last checked (2 years ago) was something like 200,000 dollars. Would it be fair for me to go to some kid in college and say hey Sally or Sam - go be a medical oncologist you can make 30 million dollars in a year.
Also for the other poster I am aware of Dr. G my father has been one of his patients. Next.
