I'm still looking for wireless plays and have been looking at KOPN. Would appreciate your comments.

I don't know KOPN well enough to comment. Their OC-192 NT piece alone is worth a serious look though. NT owns that space and they're giving LU fits right now.

I'll let you know what I can dig up.

Hi Pat,

I have known Kopin for years (you can guess how) and I don't think they are much of a wireless play. They were created to commercialize some semiconductor materials technology developed at the Lincoln Labs at MIT in the mid-80's, and have done a good (but slow) job of finding applications. Telecom is one of them, but I believe the major application is for LCDs. Even so, the connection to the end-use is pretty tenuous.
