Brian, I can't even attempt to definitively answer your question, but to add a bit of info, VRTS is a member of the NDMP coalition, defining the Open part of the architecture. You may wish to go to the NDMP sight (ndmp.org). Also, go to the NTAP sight (netapp.com) and to a search on Veritas. You will get some good stuff there and on the EMC sight (emc.com) as well. I would love to hear your impressions and conclusions.
