There has been a lot of off topic discussion on this thread. Anything PnF is not off topic but general chit chat is. This is not to say that we don't like to have a good time now and then but it seems that even the casual joke is taken a little too seriously these past few days. We all need to take a deep breath. There isn't a more welcoming thread out there and we need to keep this thread the way it has always been - a happy comfortable thread. No jabs, no bitterness. I think since I've been somewhat absent the direction of this thread has been a little uncertain. We will get back to the education and discussion of the market, I promise this to you all. There has been an accusation that we here on this thread and those at DWA are insisting it is "our way or no way". Well, this is the DWA thread. We are here to discuss PnF methodology, to learn it and how to use it. We are also here to discuss DWA, to learn it and to how to use it. This is not a statement of "our way or no way" but we did create this thread for a reason. We do have to keep our topics on line otherwise those wanting to learn will become discouraged and will give up and leave. I've worked very hard to make this a good thread for education and while I do disappear from time to time I always come back to answer questions either here or on pmessage. Tommy is here for the same purpose and spends much of his available time here answering questions and offering support. We all work hard. This is a tough business and on this thread there has always been respect for those individuals that work hard every day to better their investments, to make money for their family's and who live off of their investments. For anyone to think that any member of DWA or a member of this thread would openly insult any person described above is quite honestly - loony and in desperate need of a truck load of Cheetos. We are not here to create bitterness, or to insult - we are here to educate and support. Atin, I think your program is excellent and very well suited for more spirited investors but I also think discussion of it here on this thread confuses some basic PnF issues. I humbly suggest another thread be created or perhaps use the Point and Figure thread, to discuss your QPnF program. Of course your input of PnF especially if it is designed to help those learning and continuing to learn, is always welcome but let's keep this thread simple. We are here to discuss the market, to teach PnF and yes, to discuss DWA. Sorry if that offends anyone but that is why we created this thread. I feel like the Mom who left for one simple errand, allowed herself one cup of coffee with an old friend and came back home to find my kids have colored all over the living room wall. Do you have any idea how hard crayon is to wash off of living room walls! Did I raise you all in a barn? We just can't have nice things! Sheesh.
