UFAB getting bought out ? & Susan Byrne CNBC - Apache, Stone candidates ?

Susan Byrne on CNBC - fund manager who caught the Oilpatch low's last spring talked about the low valuations here; even in light of Oil retracing to $20. She talked about continued consolidation and mentioned Apache & Stone Energy as possible takeouts.

I've hear rumbling on UFAB getting bought out for a couple of days now; any conformations - comments ?

I heard .85 shares of GIFI fwiw. That = $9.78 which is way too cheap imho.

Oilpatch Analyst @ Stephens has UFAB as his cheapest stock in their coverage and with the highest % upside to their target price; which is $24.

If this "buyout rumor" is true - UFAB must depend on GIFI's price appreciation to get to fair value imho. But, I can see how GIFI can't pay a stock premium. Maybe cash ?

UFAB ought to hold out for $12 here imho. Too cheap and while GIFI is cheap too. UFAB will be $12 on any small cap rally, possibly by summer.

Apache keeps getting mentioned as being taken out like Arco was here ? Could be real intereting, APA is not a screaming buy here like many other E&P's, it has broken out a bit; but still - should see $50 by end of year imho.

Stone I never followed - never looked cheap fundamentally; does anyone follow Stone ?

Buyouts had better happen in a hurry; as shareprices here may bust out. Maybe we will see a bunch of buyouts here quickly as crude & gas appear to have crossed their hurdles and $20+ crude for 18 mos. may be assured funamentally.
