IBM missed the PC boom, Microsoft did not miss the internet , e-commerce, home smart appliance . IBM over loaded with employee, Microsoft did not.

Tony: All you have to do is look back at the cast of bozos that took over IBM after Watson relinquished the reigns. Do you think TV Learson and all those that followed until they finally found Gerstner (who is not a technocrat) bespeaks a company that is remotely of the caliber that MSFT is. What is demonstrated here is the power of an installed base and that is exactly what MSFT has. Stop looking for the next MSFT -you are holding it if you are long MSFT. JFD
