GP, you make a lot of good points on why semis will remain cyclical. I would like to point out that the idea of semis shedding the cyclical yoke is not mine, by any means. Last time we were on the up cycle, there were many analysts pushing that theory. I maintain that the cyclicality goes away, and the only downs from now on are market catastrophy driven, like an Asia meltdown. Semiconductors are more pervasive now than ever, by far. I hate to use the Internet as the culprit, like everyone else does, but I have to. We'll see.

Tony

To All: The earnings will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, January 25, 2000 after the market close. The replay of the CC will begin at 4:00 p.m. Pacific time and will last only 24 hours. I will be providing a detailed summary of the CC--unlike last CC when I was ill. The Cc number is 1 800 633 8284 and the reservation number is 14009570.

Good to see you back GP.
