OT--THREAD: Didn't mean to hit any nerves! Regarding my comments on the aforementioned salary specifics, these are facts. I am talking about major facial reconstructive surgery by a TOP surgeon. However, I don't want to clog up this thread and will not post any more off-topic medical comments. Any other comments should be handled by PM. I spent hours wading through the QCOM thread. I don't want to get into a debate here. I am here to share information on the market.

My comments were not meant to suggest that ALL doctors make large salaries, ot that doctors in general are happy with their pay or managed care constraints. Nor did I suggest that prospective doctors have a guarantee of above average salaries. I was just responding to an off-topic post about someone's son and trying to look on the brighter side.

FWIW I spent most of my weekend flipping through every type of chart that I know how to read and I now have got a very good feel for where QCOM will go depending on it's decided direction this week which I think will be up.

I drew a very detailed trendline chart and have located about 5 upper resistance points and 4 lower support levels for Q. The good news is that Q is bumping up against upper resistance this morning in pre-market trading. $159 1/8 is that resistance point so a move above this today will make $159 1/8 new support and will give the stock a shot at $174 7/8 with only a few minor resistance points between here and there.

Main lower support at the moment is $149 7/8.

All IMHO

I drew it with a java chart engine and is not linked to the Internet but I did make a snagit file out of it for my records which can be mailed. (picture file)
