Steve,

What is your outlook on CLIC and CMTN - two stocks that you recommended? I have been holding them down 53% and 21% respectively and am getting impatient with their performance.

Steve - Digital Island (ISLD)
They are going on the road with Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch as lead bankers (both will initiate research coverage since they do not already follow the stock)...do these guys compare to an Akamai (ISLD/Sandpiper)....their valuation is miniscule compared to an AKAM.

The aftermath: Steve's 99 picks start to go splat

ATHM - high 99, current price 38
BYND - high 37, current price 6 1/2
PVTL - high 60, current price 35

i hope u give advice on when to sell as well as when to buy, or should we just assume that your picks are good for one year and one year only (even though they are supposedly based on your predictions of the next couple years tech trends?). Fundamentals always come home to roost, my friends. Sometimes it just takes a while.

anyone care to update how the top 10 list for 2000 is doing?

Steve, do you have any thoughts on the recent decline of SCOC in the face of news. I see the release of their Tarantella Enterprise II and Tarantella Express as very positive, but the stock still seems to trend down. It seemed to have found a little support at 18 1/2. I was wondering if you feel it will continue to trend down.

Thanks for any feedback.

Steve, your thoughts on European/L.American internet access and services provider Via.Net Works (proposed ticker: VNWI). Set to IPO the week of 2/10.

Also, the Formus IPO has been postponed a few times now. Does that usually signal that takeover talks are in stride? I have heard rumors that MCI is very interested in Formus.

Your book is a great read.

As always, thanks for your time.
