The problem experienced by one person I know, that did have it done in canada, is he ending up spending more money flying out and staying. Plus there were the follow ups, etc. Fortunately they picked up his tab for the flying so he made out as if he had just paid 2000 per eye. Mind you I live in denver so if it was just across the border it might be different. The only reason he went across the border was because of his cornea (pupil?) size was to big for the US procedure.

As far as I know the only way around the 200-250 fee per eye is to use some other machine.
