No, I was long the poots going into close. I wanted to sell them. The order didn't get processed. IF they were underwater or worth less than 3/8 the broker wouldn't have done a thing and they would have expired worthless. You know that feeling. -g-

BUT, they were worth 2 bucks so he put the shares to some poot writer. I'm now short the underlying equity which closed at 98 friday. I need to cover that short position with equity or buying the shares. Do the numbers considering I paid less than a buck for the contracts on a stock that is now worth 103. I can't cover the equity (that is over 100 times what it is now trading at viv-a-vis what I paid for the poots) and will take quite a hit when I am forced to cover when the margin department sees my account. -ng- Quite a neat trap I never thought I would fall into, due to the inut failure, phone delay and Dan Niles.
